- After the water has cooled, add the amount of alcohol and a small amount of aloe vera.
- Mix well and place it in a bottle.
3rd Recipe – Glycerin
The third recipe is proposed by the World Health Organization. The main ingredients are:
- Alcohol 95%, 167 ml

- Glycerin 3 ml
- Boiled water, 21,5 ml
The way to prepare this recipe is very simple, once you mix the ingredients in a bowl and then add the mixture to a bottle and it is ready to use.
How do we use hand antiseptics?
Once we have made the natural / homemade hand antiseptics, their proper application is essential. Place a sufficient amount in the palm of one hand and then spread the product on both hands and follow the instructions for hand washing.

However, it is worth noting that in case of abuse of antiseptics, there is a possibility that they harm our health, because they disrupt the microbiome and it is easier to develop an infection.
When should we avoid the use of antiseptics?
The use of antiseptic should be avoided when:
- Soap and water are available
- Our hands are dirty
- Someone sneezes or coughs nearby
- We have caught raw fish or meat
- We have come in contact with chemicals
- We used antiseptic 5 minutes ago
Hand hygiene is the most basic measure to prevent infections and the spread of pathogenic microorganisms!
